Was kind of bummed that they didn't make it to NYC during this last legs of the tour. Probably will not be back to the east coast until summertime. Anyway, I hear you about the “I like my bass loudy” lyric, he has a tinge of corniness about him from time to time, but i dig it. It used to be an ongoing joke with the Phish heads who post at phantasytour.com to count how many times Michael Franti asks :"How's everybody feeling?", as he seemed to do it as least once per song. These days it has been replaced with "I wanna see you jumpin'"...but that is just cool with me. I freaking love this band, they make me feel good inside, even if i don't always agree with all of Michael Franti's politics. Spearhead is certainly on top of their game right now.
